AspireRevo Officially in U.S, at Newegg
The Acer AspireRevo is officially on sale in the U.S, available at Newegg.com for $200. Interestingly to note that it is using the NVIDIA ION LE instead of the usually ION.
Netbooked also mentions its the one model currently available and is only using the single core Atom 230 processor (1.6GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, ION LE graphics, Gigabit LAN and Windows XP Home. Also note that it does not come with the wireless keyboard and mouse, instead it comes with a wired keyboard and mouse.
My advise would probably to wait it out, until they have the full ION and dual-core specifications available.

Revo expected in U.S this fall!
Getting to the point, "industry" sources expect the Acer AspireRevo (Dual-Core) edition will be released in the U.S this coming fall. So look at a September to November time-frame for the AspireRevo.

Pricing, Release Details and Specs
While there is not yet official news about Acer's release date in the U.S, there has been a lot of talk about the release date in the U.K. First it was Play.com which said May 15th and now Pocket-Lint has released some details that the AspireRevo will reach shops May 5th.
Acer told Pocket-Link that the base package would have a Linux (Ubuntu) version with 1GB of RAM and 8GB solid-state-drive for £149.99, equivalent to $220 U.S dollars. Windows Vista will be packaged with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB Hard Drive and will go for £249.99, $367 U.S dollars.
Possible AspireRevo Release Date?
Play.com, a UK-based website has released on its site what is believed to be the Acer AspireRevo. Its description and specifications seem to be in check with what has been known so far.
The release date displayed for the four models on Play.com is May 18th, 2009. Its definitely a realistic date...and coming soon. Whether its the official one or not, the AspireRevo will be here in the months to come!
