Possible AspireRevo Release Date?
Play.com, a UK-based website has released on its site what is believed to be the Acer AspireRevo. Its description and specifications seem to be in check with what has been known so far.
The release date displayed for the four models on Play.com is May 18th, 2009. Its definitely a realistic date...and coming soon. Whether its the official one or not, the AspireRevo will be here in the months to come!

The specs on play state 10/100 ethernet. I thought they were going to have gigabit?

Sources from Nvidia and Acer also note that it will be Gigabit…its possible there are models with less specs.
I will look into it!

Hopefully it’s a typo on the play web site, but as a common usage of these machines will be to stream media from a NAS drive or Windows Home Server, gigabit ethernet will be essential.

I’m with you, Stodge. I gasped when I saw that it did not have gigabit. It would make no sense to not have gigabit ethernet. And, even wireless N.
I can see this machine easily becoming a media center (XBMC?) for most people being that it has HDMI. To not have the fastest LAN capabilities for this machine is ridiculous.
